    What You'll Do

    As an Occupational Therapist with Summit Healthcare Organization, you will provide occupational therapy assessment, services, direction, and care to patients in your region. You will evaluate the patient’s home environment and functional status, and participate in the development of the total plan of care.

    • Your coverage area will include: Contra Costa County, Antioch and Brentwood, CA

    • Develop a treatment program and establish goals for patients improved function

    • Teach patients new skills or re-train patients in once familiar daily activities that have been lost due to illness or injury, in accordance with organization policy

    • Maintain and submit appropriate clinical records, notes, and reports to the physician regarding any changes in the patient’s condition

    Who You Are

    • Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association

    • Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association

    • Licensed to practice as Occupational Therapist within the state

    • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Occupational Therapist

    • Current CPR certification

    • A licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order
